i traded it with a guy for my Clie PDA. so basically it ended up costing around $220.

For all the guys who have it, how difficult was the install?

BTW why was this moved from the 6th gen to the Lounge? I started this thread there because I was going to put it in my car and then post pictures.

the shock sensors all go bad and your car will start beeping for no reason at random times in the parking lot

and have u heard Songbird? hoe ghey...my buddy had Popeye the sailer play every time he unlocked his car...

my roomate did my install. easy for him. shouldnt be too difficult if you know what your doing. imo. the Auto-start feature owns ya!

Grr... f**king circuit city told me codealarm is just as good as viper (because they were not selling viper) so I trusted them and bought code alarm.. After reading this thread, for some reason I want to get the viper now... But then I read in a forum that compustar is better. I am all confuse and don't know which to get!

The Alpine alarms are crap. The worst design ever. No decent accessories to go with them, Hvae to hook- up wires to everydoor to get keyless to work. Range for s**t.
Those alarms were crap. The best thing alpine ever did was stop making those. Dont get me wrong, but those things are horrible

I believe my friend had one of these alarms, and he put it on a POS Trans Am that he had with eagle wings that were spray painted up the side and s**t, either way, looks funn.
