Anfrey - just noticed your post after I had already just posted...hehe. I assume that diagram is from the factory service manual (I have one at home). I haven't had a chance to look up the grill under the body section yet, but you've done the work for me. Thanks. Looks like I won't be needing to buy a new grill after all. I think I'll definitely take out the "H" and the housing for the "H" as well. Thanks!
not a problem. this is one of the beautiful things about the EM1's grille.

Just checked out the JDM fogs. Those are the ones I like... just never realized who made them. In any case, as I mentioned before, if I got fogs like those I'd need to also get a new bumper or actually I suppose I could probably just replace the lower grill on the bumper if it can be taken off. Guess I should look at the service manual to see. If so, then I won't have to buy a new bumper!

They're real.. but just FYI those aren't "JDM" foglights. Those are OEM USDM. The only difference at ALL is that the color of the glass on the light is yellow versus clear on our versions. That can easily be solved with Krylon Yellow Glass paint (don't quote me on that exact name though) as dozens of people have done in the past by just applying a few coats of that and a clearcoat.

And if you're worried about the validity of ebay items (despite those fog lights you linked to being 100% genuine) you can always order from www./handaaccessories.com . I got mine from them and so have many other people.. no problems whatsoever. I think the total ended up being $133 shipped. It includes a printed version of the instructions but you can always find them off their website anyways.

And just to clarify on the grill one more time.. on the 99-00 Si the 'H' will pop out by just removing a few screws. You can easily put it back in later because you aren't tearing anything out.

Oh sorry, no, I'm not using the same exact header. I am using a DC sports 4-2-1 header like I had in my DX, but it's built for an SI. My dad had one laying around that wasn't being used so I'm using that. You're right, the header from the DX wouldn't work on the SI.
