4:10s too short for me that 5.0 will breathe well in whole range if built right and are damned tough so i dont mind takign them to redline.

I believe the 87's were the strongest they made and I think they run mid 14's but I could be wrong. Mine better do better than a 14 or i'm sellin it.

Yea, 87 was the year they decided to bring back the "muscle" power.. 302 EF in it.. Im still prolly going to trade it for a car I really want when I get this one up and running nicely.

Even with a 5.0L, don't they only push like 250hp?

Not stock. Not even close stock. Maybe the 93 Cobra but that was still only like 240 hp

But the potential is there.

^^Actually, the 87 5.0HO was putting around 230-250HP.. Ford estimated it at about 220HP..
