you don't need a friggin capacitor..

no one really needs one...but they do stabilize voltages going to amplifiers. that is the nature of a capacitor; to block AC

Your Panasonic radio probly puts out probably 40-50w X 4..
peak...prolly 15 rms

As for dynomat.. putting it under the carpet is one of the goofiest things I've heard, since there's already sound deadening material there from the factory

ive seen it done and it does work...may be goofy but results speak for themselves.

i too believe in a a decent front stage and have disconnected my rears

if you want a sub, but dont want to break the budget too much, try to look at a 5 channel amp...hifonics makes a decent one that goes for about 300 on ebay. With that you can run 4 speakers off the amp, as well as a sub if you want, but dont expect record breaking spl numbers with it. Or, if you dont want a sub, you could get a 4 channel amp and run your 4 speakers on that. Either way get some new speakers, they will help out alot! If you want to go all out and get seperate amps for your subs and speakers, you might have to double check and make sure your deck has 2 pre-outs. Good luck.
