I read and understood your answers clearly my question was because i DO want the alarm system and im almost positive the EX model came with it from the get go but where is it? thats my question, if there was a control unit where would it be located at so that i can find it and ultimately plug that loose connection into it.
Need help, what does this plug into??

Your car may have a security system but your assumption about the EX model is just plain wrong. EX models are wired for the security system but the vast majority don't have it.
In contrast, EX models generally have the keyless system, which for 99-00 models is located behind the driver's kick panel.
