I hate when people try to make the price lower before even seeing it.

Asking $3500, texts come in at "would you take $3100?", then they come see it thinking the new asking price is 3100 and they are looking to go even lower.

OP, you were asking a bunch of random questions from what I gathered. That post was a little difficult to read.

I had plans to meet both sellers today. I met the granny civic first. I took a look at her car and its beat from one end to the other. It is missing both front inner fenders. Both fe fenders are dented beyond repair. The front fascia needs to be replaced. There's dings from one end to the other. The passenger's rear quarter panel is scraped badly as if she cut a corner to sharp.

I asked about her maintenance records. She comes back with 5 pages of stuff. The original window sticker, a receipt for new tires, and 2 shop receipts. It's distributor and wires have been replaced. That's it. She said the timing belt and water pump have never been replaced because it didn't need it.

She's super attached to the car and is adamant that its worth 3000.00. I kindly explained that I will bring the civic back to life, but it'll cost me 1000.00. She asked what I would give her and I told her 2000.00 cash. She got pissed and said they are on Craigslist for 3000.00 and up. I thanked her for her time and left.

I texted the pearl white civic and it's already sold. Kinda irrated me since I essentially made an appointment to see it.

Both cars are a bust at this point. Back to square one.

This is why I asked if she was flexible on price. She just wasted 4 hours of my life.

I spent 2 years searching and saving for a black Gsr with lower miles and stock.

Took me 8 months to find my car. Still not in the condition I wanted it to be in, but I needed a car and was a great price.

I just saw a MINT bone stock taffeta GSR in a publix parking lot the other day... almost wanted to wait for the owner to come out and make him an offer!

That's weird, after looking at the pics, it doesn't look like it has AC. I thought all Si's had AC.

Just checked on my local craifslist. Have 6th gens for 3 and kess. Then 2 00si for under 6k. I don't think you even want to know what some 5th gen with b series swaps already are here.

I think you found a gem, but agree that the price is steep for a '92...
