Well i hit 85 shifting into 4th earlier, but the car is pissing me off. Now the starter is going out.. So im putting the car on craigslist to see if i can find a good stock base or a suv to pull my boat because a honda wont do it lol.. but i want to keep it, but this thing is such a money pit because there's still so much more i have to do to get it the way i want or even respectable looking. my parents are tired of me spending so much money on it.. idk ill keep you guys informed
wow are you serious? your selling the car cause the starter is bad? dude those go bad every so often its all part of owning an old car.
maybe if you actually took care of your car and didnt beat the f**k out of it (4th at 85mph) your car wouldnt be falling apart.
Have you read any of this thread? This car has needed so much s**t, I've put over a GRAND into this thing in 3 months. I'm tired of it, and it still needs another grand... You can ask anyone I know or even civiceater, I NEVER beat on cars, that is the FIRST and probably on time i have floored that car, and it really did surprise me. Soo, anything else to say? or you wanna read up a little first?
Man no matter WHAT you buy it is going to break, and be a pain.... So trust me when I say the money you save on gas is worth it... The nice thing about a honda is you can find this starter ANYWHERE... Craigslist, ebay, etc etc... I could find you a starter in a day for cheap.... Sooooooo

i don't think you've spent as much money as you think you have.
like they've said, a starter won't cost that much. I beat the hell out of my car but i give it the maintenance that it needs. s**t happens that you can't really help, my car is rusting at the bottom of the doors and behind the headlights, but I baby the hell out of it off the street and about 90% of the time on the street and you've seen that.
No matter what car you get, it will probably have one or more problems that need fixing, especially in the price range that you can afford at the moment, which is nothing to be ashamed of.

Thats one thing my dad did say about me having a civic is that the parts are easy to find and cheap.. But having a swapped motor i always have to find integra parts lol but yea i will probably stick with it but im going to keep my options in mind.. But painted some of my interior parts that where white back to black. Still have the counsel in the middle, that will be a pain but whatever. OH and i painted my hood a darker glossish black. it looks kinda cool hah
