Hey guys, I'm Jason, I'm from CT and I currently drive a 2002 subaru 2.5rs with a couple of mods on it. I'm gonna be getting a 92 civic shell and I'm planning on doing a k-swap to it.

I would be beyond grateful if you guys could give me your input and advice for doing this swap seeing as how I'm new to the honda scene. A bit more about the project:

The car:
1992 Honda civic Hatch

The soon-to-come engine:
K20a out of a Civic Type R CTR EP3

The engine is coming with:
Complete Head
Complete Block
Intake Manifold
Exhaust Manifold
Injectors
Throttle Body
Power Steering Pump
Sensors
Fuel Rail
Alternater
Coils A/C Compressor
Manual 6-SPD Transmission (NPQ3)
Clutch
Flywheel
Wiring Harness (Loom)
ECU

I'm also going to be doing a 5-lug conversion instead of keeping it at 4-lug.

I know that I'm gonna still need the shift linkage, axles, knuckles, and throttle cable. But is there anything else I should take into consideration when preparing to do this swap?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out.

Don't go with the K20A3. From what I read it's a shitty K20. Go with the K20A2 or K24A2 instead.

Motor mount kit. I don't really know much about em but Hasport is good AFAIK.

word, I was strictly looking at the jdm engines from jdmenginedepot.com so that I can just drive to jersey and pick up the engine instead of having to get it shipped and pay the extra cash. Do you guys think a B18c from a 98-01 teggy type r would be a better way to go then? Just cuz the only other k-series engine they have up is a DC5 engine, but I wasn't looking to spend $5,000 on an engine.

i'm over in the valley. I love k-series dude, but if I start this project I'm gonna be selling my subie so me and my boy are planning on getting the car up and running in the matter of 2 days so I can get around for school, so if it's gonna be a lot of cutting up for a k-series to fit I might end up just doing the b18.
