Hi, I'm Chris I just bought a 97 civic dx hatch cheap because it need brake and fuel lines cause they rusted out. The car is completely stock w/180k miles, the body isn't in too rough a shape, it's got some leaks but overall I'm happy w/it since it's going to be my daily driver/beater to save me some money since my current dd an 05 Subaru impreza rs is killing my wallet filling it up every week and will be down for a while getting a built engine and some much needed body work. I pretty familiar w/Honda's since I used to own a 90 da Integra and have helped my buddy w/just about everything on his 98 ex coupe. I've done a couple things to the civic since I bought it like change out the worn out shifter and bushings w/a dual bend short shifter and energy suspension bushings, did the diy ctr grille and cleaned out the interior. Future plans include neuspeed sport springs on a cheap set of lotek short shocks, adding fr and rr sway bars which means I have to change my fr control arms and adding a rear subframe brace, swapping out all the worn out bushings w/polyurethane ones, a mini-me swap, an intake, a nice sounding exhaust and some body work to make it look better. I will add some pics later once I load them on my laptop later today.

Thanks, it has a d16y7 and the body is pretty solid it does have the Honda cancer in the rear quarters but it's only it's rust bubbles for now. The only holes in it are in the brake and fuel lines. Hopefully over the summer I will cut out the rust and weld in some patch panels, replace the front fenders since there all banged up, get some ctr style front and rear lips then do some body work to get the panels straight and probably paint it at some point.
