Thanks. Yeah...first thing I put on the car many years ago. Altezza is the old style. Was in the process of blacking them out but I got lazy. Just want to go back to stock on the tails one day but ain't got them no more.

Thanks JustJustin! I think so too but the actual ride can get kinda rough. Might go 15's one day and drop it even more!

Do 16s. It'll look a lot better.

And you can get stock tails. Look on CL!
Any motor plans?

Crash!: sorry, CL? And as far as motor plans go I'm think about doing a B20z swap for the higher compression w/LS tranny (better mpg and longer gears). Turbo is really cool and all but its too much maintenance for me. I need this car to drive to work/school and to take on everyday life. I'm still debating since im thinking about getting a new car sometime next year...Who knows, maybe I will just end up boosting this d16y8 and upgrade the internals!! That was my original plan a while ago

CL = Craigslist.

And umm... Are you saying you want a B20Z for higher compression? The Y8 and the B20 have the same compression... you'd be getting more torque than anything.

Installed Energy Suspension shifter bushings today. Feels great! Much more solid shift engagement than before. I would definitely recommend the upgrade. While youre at it you should change the transmission fluid (replace the tranny drain plug with a magnetic tipped drain plug), and make sure to use Genuine Honda Tranny Fluid (unless you want those horrible crunching sounds and leaky seals) Makes a big difference IMO.

Compared to a b20b...yeah. I was considering a b20b as well for a turbo setup, but now im going N/A so b20z it is.This car needs more torque!! I guess I should have been more specific. My cousin has a b20b in his 91 teggy along with a ACT Stage 3 clutch, that things launches like crazy, so much in fact his motor mounts are shot. I didnt know that the compression was the same in the y8 and b20z. Good to know.

Are you planning on putting a head on it? A b16/gsr will give you higher comp. And b20v's are super fun.
