New Here from Dayton!

Hello all!

My names Corey, i live in Dayton Ohio. Just moved here though, grew up in Bowling Green, Ohio.
I'm going to school to be a Honda technician.

Here's my current car, 1995 EX coupe( which i just picked up today, traded for my 91 CRX)


Its got a few dents and dings, but nothing terrible. Im excited for a good platform to build on. The crx had some unibody damage and just wasnt worth keeping any longer.

Honda wise, ive also owned
-91 civic sedan
-89 std hatch
-94 ex

Non honda wise
-89 Conquest TSi
-95 static s10
-92 240sx

welcome, I lived in monroe/middletown for 3 years

dayton still full of sand bagging mustakes and "my car is stock, that loping idle if just a vacuum leak" camaros?

LOL, ive seen a ton of "joe dirt" camaros around here.

But, i just moved here like a month ago, so im not to familiar with anything around here yet.

Oh Dayton is sooooo fun! -_- not. Lived in Dayton my whole life and it's no fun. By any chance were you the guy that came back from Kansas City or something? Just curious, I was gonna trade my em1 for a crx but couldn't ever get ahold of the guy.

Glad I kept my em1 now =)

Nice pick up btw.

LOL. Nope, not from kansas.

This place is a TON better than where i came from. But definitely am not planning on staying here. After i get my degree, GF and I are moving to Cinci, so she can finish her masters there, then were off to where ever life takes us. Sure as hell wont be ohio though. I dream of warm weather year round.

Back in the day we did meets on the north side of Columbus to get more people from all over the state. Honestly, I never know my schedule week to week due to work and grad school. Constantly changing.

Probably not. Haven't owned a Honda in 3 yrs. Honda guys really don't like VW guys all that much.

this is how the meets use to go down

Monday-RiceKiller meets at Fridays in West Chester
Tuesday-None
Wednesday-none
Thursday- BW3's or best buy meet near tri-county mall, usually after Edgewater Test N Tune---->now Thursday Night Lights at Edgewater
Friday-Middletown on briel near AK steel, usually kicked out and ajourn to The shut down old country buffet off Cin-day Road
Saturday- Bum spot or Middletown, was pick your poison at that point.

Then the random Eastgate (aka ricegate) meets or way out in Harrison
Middletown meets sometimes lead to a cruise up to dayton mall
From what my friends are telling me there is a huge meet at Northgate mall now on Thursdays

In a nutshell......cincy is always crackin
