But how did they pick which cars you would be racing against? It seems as though some of the cars that were in front of you were a little out of your league..

It was an open track day. So, you just got into the group based on driving experience, and not the car you owned. It wasn't a real race, it was more just for fun and to see were the car's limit is

back from the dead.

little update, I sold the EJ9 2 years ago and I bought an EK4. If I did the math, this came out cheaper then a complete B16 swap + this way I can drive around without any legal problems. Here are some pics of the car from last year. Currently the hatch is being rebuild.

Thanks guys. to answer some questions, the color of the car is RAL 7023 - betongrau.

And yea, I owned and own a lot of bumpers and wheels. Currently the only bumpers that are left are the C-west and the SiR with SiR lip (not yet pictured). And for wheels I have a set of EK4 wheels, 15" Compomotive wheels, 15" Volk TE-37's and a set of 16" rota grids. The black 15" Enkei's and the white/red Rota HM3's were sold.

Nice car man! I bought an EJ9 too but it turns out the the whole rear end (including the entire suspension) is rusted straight through so it ain't getting no new bits now D14 all the way! =P It's not a bad engine for a 1.4 in fairness. You running the 75 bhp or 90 bhp model?
