Hi, newbie here... Why do a lip when the whole bumper [+ grille(s)] needs cosmetic enhancements?
At any rate, the best looking lip is OEM Type R... or an exact replica knockoff.

He doesn't do the whole bumper because putting a kkitted bumper would add all these vents and holes that are way unnecessary (spelling) plus he wants to have one made it would be way ore expensive to make aa whole bumper rather than just the lip I say go for it and the best one is number 4 which looks like a tsunami lip

they're all so damn close to a ctr or si replica lip so just buy one of those and save yourself the hassle
i dont see it as a hassle, its what i like to do. i find the people that do everything themselves (of course correctly) more respectable than the ones who just go out and buy what everybody else has.

Now, that's not bad... Don't forget to roll the underside of the lip to smooth it out.
Just to clarify, I was never into outrageous bumpers/bodykits; even when they started churning out all those bodykits back in the day. Something like that is not what I would recommend. If anything, I would make a bumper completely based on the OEM 96-98 bumper with very minimal deviation in OEM design.

2 and 4 are the best you've made.

hah hey man.. looks like you've been working on exactly what i was doing in the past.. haha here were some ideas i came up with:
http://www.rit.edu/~ltk6260/lips.html

i started on the rear lip.. which now just needs TONS of sanding and duraglass/bondo work..
you can see the rear lip like half way through the process here:
http://www.rit.edu/~ltk6260/newTails.html

but i ordered a mugen front lip and a type r rear lip .. so i think what i'll do is after i get some other projects done, i'll make a mold of my purchased lips and then go from there.

goodluck man!
