That car is show room perfect... Man just to see a car that looks like it did the day it rolled off the show room floor 11yrs ago is AMAZING!!!!

I like the idea of keeping her stock, while doing some mods is great and I am the guy that buys a brand new car and mods it when I get it home, this car would be fine just to sit stock!

So why did they say it sat? Any reasons? SO sick man I can't get over it!

I have a friend that they had a 2000 s2000 one of the VERY first editions, had 1600 miles on it, and it sat garaged the entire time, they put 3 sets of tires due to dry rot, he drove it to get smokes (not in the car) every month or so just to keep it moving... And replaced the battery twice due to the alarm... He ended up trading it in for a Honda Pilot for his wife since it was her car... They raped them for it at like 8k I was sooo pissed I would of gave 8k and had it....

Anyways my point is man it is hard to find OEM hotness that is just perfection!

I wish I knew the story... I'm the fourth owner, but apparently the second owner NEVER drove the car. It's quite an amazing car, I really enjoy it a lot!!!
Took some photos today with a friend, he has a ROUSH Focus. Weather was like 40 degress out... it was a MESS, but fun!!! This is such a fun car to drive, even in warm,dry weather!! I look forward to nicer weather, so the car can come out more often...
I do want to do some simple BOLT on mods: maybe a drop in air filter (K & N) so i can keep the engine bay stock looking, an exhaust kit (apexi) that will allow some tone, but still look stock with a circular tip and maybe some coilovers to lower the car a smidge...But all in all, i'd like to keep the car stock looking. I think it would be great to TURBO the car way later in the future, but still have it looking stock, what a sleeper!!!! But that's only cuz I have an acquintance who has a slightly modded Milano red 99 Em1...

You said you had got some hate on other car forums i dont see how anybody could hate on this. Nothing but amazing its clean as hell amazingly nice and nice find man. I am the person that mods every car they have so if i had it i couldnt keep it stock, but if there was ever a car to keep stock just so its oem it is defintly this one.
The monte carlo your modding is it fwd my friend has a supercharged one not sure of the year but it is fwd.

The issue on the other forums was that of mileage. They were totally convinced that my car was a victim of odometer fraud. After having the car's interior looked at, there is NO evidence of tampering. The radio at one time was removed, because one of the previous owner's had a sub woofer in the trunk. It's going to be SUPER difficult to keep it stock especially after I already stated an acquaintance has a slightly modded 99 EM1. If I do mod it slightly, it will be with items I can easily remove, so that if/when I ever sell it, I can remove the items, sell them and promote the car as completely STOCK!!
The car is SUPER clean, the pictures prove that... I purchased the car and paid the price I did because it's in such amazing shape!

All 00-06 Monte Carlos were FWD. My Monte is a 2004 3.8L SS with a supercharger. My next plan is an SLP exhaust. Street Legal Performance makes a lot of parts for the Camaro, but they do make items for other autos as well. I REALLY like my Monte, as it is my DD... but for an S/C car with a CAI it's absolutely silent, hence why I need an exhaust!

Oh ok i knew they couldnt be hating on the ride.
Didnt know that about the monte carlos learn something new everyday i can understand why you need an exhaust if it is silent any car with a sc should be heard IMO. I used to drive a 5.0 so i like the muscle builds as much as the imports.
Any pics of the monte carlo you want to throw up real quick.

this is my custom ROUSH Mustang. FULL Stage 3 drivetrain setup, including ROUSHcharger and CAI, full ROUSH bodykit along with a full exhaust and full suspension packaged from ROUSH.
