Hey everyone. I just signed up for this site. I drive a 99 Civic Si.

I haven't had my car for very long. First thing I did was an intake, then I tinted my windows. I just recently got my side skirts and mouldings painted silver. I plan on lowering my car and getting rims within the next couple weeks. I just thought Id introduce myself. Comments welcome.

no worries, there are quite a few ladies on this forum... everyone here is pretty accepting, regardless of sex. what kind of rims/suspension set up are you planning?

Ok that's good to hear. I was also going to mention that I'm looking into an SIR front lip for my car.
I'm not sure what kind of rims they are. Sorry, they are being given to me by a very nice guy. He is also giving me springs. They are Tein H-techs. Thinking about only putting an inch to 1.75 drop. Regina roads suck!

welcome .your car looks very clean and sweet.i give you props for even be interested in cars.there should be more like you out there.well it seems your of to a good start as far as looks and suspension beacause of what you said earlier.please sweetie post pic of motor.even if its stock.keep us posted with future mods.good luck

I've got a question for you guys. My Dad was talking to this guy about my car awhile back when I first bought it and this guy said something about the timing belt going around 100,000 km's. Have any of your heard of this before? My Dad keeps bugging me to get it changed. Thought Id ask around before spending money to get it done if it doesnt need to be.

sir lip will flow nicely...clean, simple, and looks great. as for rims, you can't beat free ones, so that's cool. Tien's are nice too, you can't go wrong with them.

its highly recommended at around 100k.also remember if you do that to change your water pump.youll sursprise that lots of people dont and regret it late cause they end up paying double for the job.why u ask??cause once you change timming belt it get very tight on the pulley of the water pump and end up messing up the water pump.that why you should do both.i highly recommede myself.at the end you see a big difference on your car.ill run a whole lot better.
