do you have dimensions for the brackets for the hood damper? i wouldn't mind making those myself.

The pics of the brackets are good BUT they don't help without measurements. Needs measurements to complete DIY. ;)

hmmm i didnt notice that ctr lights didnt hav the caps over the bulbs....can u just open up stock headlights and remove the cap yourself?

You could do that but the main difference between a SIR and CTR headlight is that the CTR housing is gunmetal chrome. and the SiR ones are just plain chrome. but u could remove the cap

i noticed that you have a carbon fibre hood, i as welll have one and ive been wanting to get hood dampers for months. how is it for when you open and close the hood? hard to close or easy? thats what i mean. i want them because when i put the hood up and onto my prop rod my hood pretty much just warps, i dont like that. props on your diy and your car.

Its easy to close... as long as the damper isnt too strong. since my friend used a damper from the eg, its not that stronf so opening is easy and when i close it about 2 feet from closed position it feels like there is nothing holding it up so no force when being closed.

thanks, that is awesome. i was looking at buying some tein ones that were "made" for that and they were looking at $150, how much did you spend all together?
