Im after a bright white light, is 6k the best for this yeh?

You have to buy the right bulb type for you paticular model, but everything else is the same

go for 6k

I would say my 10k isnt anywhere near violet, look at the pic, 12k is violet

10K should be really blue...not green like what you have....if its still green man..i'd return it and get one that actually has some light output...!
