Look what i just got in!

Im really excited, im taking it to my friends shop so me and him can put in it saturday.
Im liking this installing things myself stuff, much better than taking it to a shop and paying money for them to have all the fun = /.

One queaston, ive read in a few places that gettin new bushings is a BIG improvement, anyone done it that will reccomend it? if not ill just stick with wat i got.

Is all that skunk2? All my Skunk2 stuff came in a different box but the foam is the same... anyways, ES shifter bushings are really nice and I would recommend getting them. They are cheap, I got mine for $12 on the internet and they really made a noticable difference. I would do it since they are so cheap, good luck

It was the usual black Skunk2 box, i just couldnt get the damn thing open so i cut it lol.

Wat site did you order the bushings from, if they are only 12$ i might get them.

Do they prevent shifter wobble while in gear? ive noticed mine is started to move around alot.

The bushings were like 11 dollars, got them from www.jegs.com (ordered before someone posted site with free shipping, damn)

The Boots i got from RedlineGoods.com (i reccomend this site) they were like 40 Dollars (for both)

Heres some pics. I got the black leather with charcoal stitching (dont care for the red that most shifters have)

Yea im happy with wat they look like, but i just found a problem while tryin to peice them to gether to see wat it will look like, the top of the shifter boot dosent have a ring to hold it up near the knob, and i cant use the one from my stock shifter (if it even comes off) becuase its snapped in like 3 places (my stock boots sags halfway down the shifter) got any ideas of a cheap lil way to make it look better and stay up near the knob?

i dont know how the handbrake one fits on, but has anyone ever had to install one without a seal on it?

PS. bushings are coming in tomarow, so ill have everything by this weekend. My friends dad is letting us use his shop so i can use his lift = )
