New Tail lights created a leak in my trunk.... anyone ever have to address this issue too?

I bought the car with the tail lights you see in my avatar photo and thought the condensation was caused because of my trunk key housing being punched out, but it’s leaking tail lights.... what’s your take on approaching this kinda job?

Replace the taillights tbh. They're probably eBay specials, which means they're likely poor quality. There's also little gaskets behind them, they're either missing or need to be replaced.

you could get some aftermarket oem fit ones or the junkyard to get the real oem taillights to see if they fit better. check out my aftermarket headlights video i had a problem with water leaking

Pick up a set of OEM tail lights or if you do go aftermarket, stick with DEPO brand.
