new theft deterrant idea, will it work?

my boy used to have an accord and he had 35% on his windshied and 5% on everything else on his old accord and he lives 10 miles from me! Hes got 10 fix it tickets but he has a connection.

i havent gotten a ticket yet, and i live about a mile from the sheriffs station (my city doesnt have its own police, were pathetic) and i had a cop run my license, cuz i was curious, and he asked me if i had it tinted, and i gave a sheepish chuckle, and he was like "do u have ne problems seeing out of it at nite" and im all "haha, no"....then i got taken in cuz i had to pay a ticket....damn po-po

how about i break your ignition, unscrew the actual ignition switch..use a screw driver and turn it to the ON position, push start the car and bypass your whole elaborate starter button?

Or you could just use a wheel lift tow truck, snatch the car, and tow it to a nice garage somewhere that the thief can undo all your "anti-theft devices" at his or her leisure.

Just put JOE'S REPO SERVICE on the side of the truck. 100 people could see it being stolen and would just laugh at you when you come out to find your car gone because they think your s**t got repo'ed, not stolen.

Why not just do a this, would be pretty easy.. get a small receiever and a small broadcasting signal for you car.. you have the reciever attached to your key or keychain, and the ignition won't work unless the reciever and broadcasting signal communicate. It'd have to be a unique ID for each signal and reciever.. or you could do something where there's a switch in your car (somewhere hard to hell to find, but still reachable) and you flip it to the complete the ignition circuit.

My dad's car (soon tyo br mine) hyas that. You push a buttona ndit starts as long as you have the wireless reciever. You can open it by pressing the button on the ousie as long as you have the reciece and when yuor near it unloicks ans when you go away it locks. etc.

i think the best anti-theft device would be to just convert you car to a diffent obd than it is stock. and when you leave your car, just unplug the obd converter and ecu and take them with you.

that would be the biggest pain in the ass ever, and you car could still get stolen.

think about it.... any car can get stolen no matter what. just depends on how much someone wants it. if need be. just load a car up onto a flatbed and drive off with it.

dude this is a crazy hairbrain anti theft device. just install a hidden kill switch and use the pushbutton. my buddy has one on his truck and it works fine.

well, it works. i stole everything str8 from the transporter 2. lol. on a linear actuator, the keypad (from ford) comes out of the passenger airbag, i input the code, that hits a sensor in the onboard computer, that turns on my ignition for 5 seconds only, which i then flip that switch to put the car in the ON position and i push the push button start (from a s2000) and that is mounted where the stock ignition module used to be and im on my way. the whole process takes 7 seconds longer than using the key

i also shaved the door handles and installed more keypads on each door, one on the trunk and one for the hood. the one for the hood is inside the car, and has its own code. the driver door has a code, the passenger has its own code, and so does the trunk. during that weekend, i also deleted the rear seats (i have never used them) and had someone lay carbon fiber it all in with my 4 channel amp in the middle. i dont have subs, cuz they weigh too much and my car is slow enuf as it is. so there is no access to the trunk except from the trunk lid.

next project is to carbon fiber the roofline and door panels. but now im broke after spending 3500 dollars on electronix and labor....
