I was wondering what my next engine mod should be before i do my greddy setup. I do not plan on doing the interals because i am only running 6-8 psi. I am putting on greddy evo exhaust. I was thinking about skunk 2 intake manifold but i heard that with the greddy emanage system it will screw things up because this system is made for a stock engine not a modded one... should i just start saving for the turbo or is there aynthing else i need to do to prepare for this setup.... thanks

would this be a good clutch for my turbo:

This is an ACT cltuch
Heavy Duty Pressure Plate w/ Street Disc Kit

also with the flywheel you get to chose either 11.9 or 8.4 which would be better for turbo setup.....?

the 8.4.
with a super high hp turbo setup, too light of a flywheel can break. but you wont have to worry about that one little bit with a civic.

keep the stock fly, either get it resurfaced or just get a new stock one. you wont want or need a lightened one with boost, the engine is gonna rev quite a bit faster.

im gonnna get a organic clutch, you wont need a hardcore race/street one with just a greddy kit. if i were you id get a turbo timer, guages, clutch, high flow cat, boost controller, and oh yeah, a hondata.

No manifold? So with my Ported ITR manifold is the blue box going to get f**ked up because it wont be on a stock engine? i didnt think that would make a differance because ITR manifold is still an OEM manifold but i also have ITR cams soon to be GSR cams in to, so if i dont get a hondata to replace the blue box will i have detonation? And what other problems?

holy crap... you dont use the stock manifold with a turbo, you need a turbo specific one. wow.

I didnt get waht you just said there are turbo specific intake manifolds? Well i know there is but i didnt know you have to use a certain intake manifold for a turbo.

EDIT: i am not talking about the exhuast manifold if that is waht you are thinking, but right now you confused the s**t out of me with what you said.

you dont have to, but its a really, really good idea. having a modded motor will take the greddy outside of its very very narrow design perameteres- a completely stock motor- so you may risk leaning out and detonating it. how much risk is anyones guess.

as far as the clutch goes, get one capable of holding 100% more power than stock, i recommend ACT clutches with a street disc and xtreme pressure plate, thats what i will be using on my turbo setup..

it is a 90% increase would that be enough for a stock greddy turbo?

Yes i woudl think so, the greddy turbo isnt going to give you insane power prolly not even 200 to the wheels, So just get what you can afford.
