What I don't get is the huge thing about JDM with Honda's, Civics in particular. The Nissan guys I know that do S13 Silvia front end swaps and engine swaps, along with Nismo parts don't talk about JDM and I've never seen someone laugh so hard about people claiming to be JDM. Maybe I'm like them and just don't get it either.

ill make it VERY simple... i like hondas, and i prefer the way they are stock in japan in regards to visual stuff.

i dont like apc headlights.... i dont like spray painted fog lights... i dont like ebay strut bars... i dont like ill fitting intercoolers... i ALSO dont talk s**t on people that do... but its not my thing.. do you follow man? i like oem jdm stuff, i dont really care for "fake" stuff, or "copies", again its NOT like i talk s**t on people who do...

so the thing is simple.. when i see a thread that says "jdm" im interested.. because thats what i happen to like.. i dont really care if you do, i also dont really care if some nissan guy understands it.. none of that matters to me... so the point i was making is.. i flipped through all these pictures that were posted.. and well.. YES the cars are nice.. but jdm? eh..

so now let me ask you a question... why do you find it ok for nissan guys to get jdm cosmetic parts and motors, but NOT honda people.. i really dont follow that at all

I don't find anything wrong with it at all. What I was confused by is that Honda guys typically call it JDM but the Nissan guys don't refer to their mods as JDM. Just a difference I noticed.

ah now i see what you are saying yah i guess honda guys do make a big deal about it... for me.. when i use the term "jdm" im basicly using it as a descriptive term... like "oh are they jdm housings, or ebay copies" i never say anything like "im better than you because i have more jdm parts", but yeah i get what you are asking now.. lol
