This Can Happen Because of the FPR
Fule Presure Regulator Located on the Right of the Intake Manifold Make sure your Hose is connected Properly... Many people Use this to get a little more power By Takeing the Hose OFF all Though you dont even get one HP so dont bother with it.

personnaly i have never heard of this, and besides teh car depends on the fuel pressure regulator to start the car, without the right range of pressure the car will not even start, it's located at the right side of the fuel rail if your looking at the motor.

its wierd.. it sometimes does it, but then again, its been like 3 days since it has.. i dont get it.. but i'll check everything tonight, and see if theres anything funny about it. thnks

my idle's all messed up, sometimes it drops to like 200 rpm, other times it idles at 900... hopefully after I get my 90k service, the issue will go away... if not, then I gotta start diggin

um my idle doesn't do this bouncing up and down, just like every honda it does idle a bit higher than normal during winter, even with 211,000 miles i haven't experienced this yet and i have owned 2 ohter 88 civic hatches and neither of them bounced up and down either, it 's not normal to rev up then down over and over, it should be check out by a quailifed tech.

trust me i have and it is a sort of shiver for your car. but it is always safe to check this out.
