So here's my plan. I have 3500 already saved up, and will begin this project this summer.

The whip: 1992 EJ1 DX

Price: 2,000$ max, 1000$ min.

Interior Styling:
I'll sell the wheels and buy these seats used, adding another 300$ to the bill. They're nice because they're extrememly comfortable and of course the 5 point harness for safety reasons.

Exterior Styling:
Kevlar/CF Hybrid Hood - 800$
Kevlar/CF Hybrid Lip - 300$
Paint Job & Shave Spoiler - 1000$

The Motor:
b16A from HMO
Price: 2200$ after shipping

Sleeved - 900$ @ Golden Eagle

Turbo Manifold - 825$

The Turbo & Et. Al.:

Greddy BOV: 120$

Turbo: Turbonetics T3, 60 trim compressor, .48 A/R exhaust, 3" inlet, 2.5 "outlet
Price: 400$

Tial Wastegate 40mm (pictured is a 38mm) with an upgraded spring for .8 bar.
Price: 400$

Intercooler
Price: [red]300$[/red]

Piping - 3" all around including downpipe
Price: 450$

Thermal R&D Turbo Exhaust
Price: 350$

Suspension & Handling:

Quaife - 785$

Tein HA - 700$

JDM ITR 96' Spec Wheels Wrapped w/ Falken Azenzis
Price:900$

Electronics
Hondata s200 = 400
Boost Gauge = 100
A/F Ratio = 100
Boost Controller = 100

Total Price: 13,610$

I probably missed some stuff too...(like cam, pistons, struts etc) but this is what it takes, IMHO, to build a true honda =) Would be able to support a lot of boost (20+ psi) and would easily have 400 whp.

Anyhow, I only need to save up about 10 grand more :P

fyi, you are gonna need the whole suspension from the ctr to fit the wheels, and you may be happy with the stock suspension with that, so 700 saved if you do.

Too bad you are paying about twice as much as you should for everything. At least for what I've paid.

Poor suckers paying out the ass on engines too.

f*ck you youre the dumbass. Whats a business license going to do for you? Well it doesn't give you an automatic discount. It allows you to resale items, get a discount, and be considered a business for tax purposes (business write-offs).

However, the way you get all of the parts cheap is by buying them in bulk. Kind of like setting up a group buy...

Basically your talkin about being an import shop, for only my car. I know that scheme/scam, and it really isn't worth the extra time to get the same deals that I can already get.

Read up before you spit the sh!t out of your mouth and until then, get off my thread.

Normally in order to get the discounts he is refering to you have to first do a buy in with whatever company you want to do business with. THEN............ in order to keep recieving stuff from those companys you have to maintain a certain amount of purchases from them.

CarbonCreations - I want to let you know, I got my B16a from HMO as well. The entire swap. Had it shipped right to my garage door there in Port Orchard, WA. Did the swap in a single car garage last winter, but listen, check your distributor for good voltage before anything, don't trust the axles-if yer getting them- and make sure that when you rewire parts of the harness, that you do it right and with good connectors. If you have any troubles, SPEEDLINE in South Tacoma helped me out with a lot of s**t. I got my AEM CAI there along with a few other things. From HMO, don't expect your valve cover to look good, mine looked like hell. Axles, bad distributor and cosmetic stuff is the only thing I had to complain about, but other than that, I have put 19K miles on the engine since the swap last winter, so, I am happy with it. And hopefully, by this time next year, I will be back in Western WA and getting the EFF outta this hot ass weather. Speaking of which, upgrade yer radiator too. I replaced mine but I think a fluidine is in my future.
Good luck with the swap.
