As previously stated (I think?) The autometer gauges in the dash were wired incorrectly and they lit up when I unlocked or locked the car because they were wired into the alarm system (Lol?) So I followed the wire and rewired it into the extra slot in the under dash fuse box for the headlights. Now than the autometer gauges come on with the headlights! Can mark that off the to do list now. =) Also the wires aren't hanging in the double din spot anymore they're all nice and tucked behind the gauges.

Sorry I missed this, I had the exact same issue with my 91. Yes, the igniter is one of the only known issues with the D engines, mine went through 3 or 4 before it found one it really liked, tried different brands, can't remember the one it stuck with. If you still have weird issues like that (cutting out etc), I'd replace the whole distributor. Other than that, clean ass car, mang. I also would've guessed the silly gauges might have had something to do with it. People are such idiots with wiring lol

Yeah, With the new igniter it's cutting out at higher rpm's now even though I shouldn't be there since I got this for a daily hahaha... I'm going to redo the battery relocation wiring, Currently it's 4 gauge wiring except it's not copper battery wire it's like speaker wire and it has alot of aluminum and barely any copper. So once I get actual battery cables it should be grounded real well. Been having alot of problems with the battery ground i'd have to mess with it sometimes for the car to start and it'd stop while i'm driving i'd have to mess with the ground to get it going again etc. Been thinking maybe the battery problems also could be distributing to my igniter problems. (maybe) So i'm going to do the battery cables first. Once I fix the battery cables if I still have a dizzy problem. I'm thinking i'll order a brand new distributor from tiger japanese. $89 with a 1 year warranty. Sounds pretty good to me. Probably some NGK wires also because these MSD wires are crap. Sometimes they'll pop off the dizzy while driving and they get loose etc. Also going to add different exhaust system to my list or stock exhaust, The current exhaust rattles quite a bit and it's really raspy. I don't like it. I'm somewhat against no-brand or ebay exhausts anyways. Trying not to spend too much money on it.

Another night broke down. 2 hours away. No spark.. again... Front bumper was nowhere near able to get on the dolley.. Frame still hit the dolley.. Also forgot to mention someone stole my brake light out the carbon fiber wing...

Here's pics of the brake light gone... Left the car 2 hours when it was broke down and someone took it .... :( Anyone know where to buy just the brake light? I looked on ebay all I found was full spoilers. Going to hopefully wire up the fog lights since the front bumpers already off. Looks like the fog lights are going to be tough to follow. It's all tucked in the fender and stuff :???:

Got a brand new distributor and replaced one of the valve cover studs because it was stripped, Cars running good atm and no oil leak out the valve cover now. Pics of the new distributor as soon as I can get them on my computer.

Edit again.. Why the hell is there no heat shield i'm 100% sure I had a heat shield on this thing...

The engine bay is rather filthy, The reason I havn't posted any pics of it until now.. What's everyones best way to clean oil off of a motor? In the pic you can see how black the block is. It has a really thick layer of oil covering it. Previous owner had a valve cover leak and never fixed it just kept putting oil in it... I replaced the spark plug tube seals and valve cover gasket when I got the car but it still had a small leak on the back cause one of the rear valve cover studs was stripped. I replaced that when I changed dizzy's so it should be taken care of now. I want to take off the header and clean up the block one day but not sure what would remove so much oil off the block. Suggestions?

Thanks! Yeah I know you too, From clubintegra lol. Havn't had any progress on the integra in awhile.. Can't remember if I posted previously or not but after I installed my mudflaps my yard has takin them back off... In a way I can't reinstall them because they're ripped... Lol. Looking to get Brand new OEM mud flaps/hardware in the future and avoiding that part of the yard from now on... Lol

So took her to the drag strip this weekend but didn't run. Mainly went out to hangout with alot of friends but also see how she does on a longer distance trip. I think I drove it about 250 miles total. Started up every single time and runs great.

Only problem now is that whenever I'm driving and goto a stop the idle drops down to about 300. It literally is barely running and it idles so low I can't even tell the car is on. It feels like it dies but it's actually running. If I sit for 15-20 seconds the idle goes back up to about 800. But everytime I move once I throw it in neutral or push in the clutch to stop it drops to 300. I'm not sure what that could be.

One time I stopped at a gas station my intake wasn't connected to the throttle body anymore it was just laying in the engine bay. I'm going to get a clamp for the intake since this zip tie isn't holding very well. (previous owner lol) and I guess just mess around with stuff to see if anything changes the idle...

Spread out the posts to easily read.

One more question does anything know if the AEM V2 intake for EG civic if it is compatible with D/B series motors like interchangable?

Did alittle bit to it today. First I started cleaning off the oil from the block, Fuel rail, injectors, intake manifold, etc. Here's a pic of about how thick the oil was on the block.
It was actually alittle bit thicker than this bit


I also moved the front motor ground to the back to give it alittle bit of a cleaner bay. Now I can actually see the block since alittle bit of the oils gone!



Deleted the hard line going from valve cover/intake, coolant line etc. Ran 2 seperate lines that were flexible so I can tuck it under stuff for a better look.



Also Put a clamp on the intake instead of the zip tie the PO had on it because it wouldn't hold it and my intake always fell off.

Here's the pics of how it is now. More work to do, Going to have to replace the cam seal soon because it leaks bad. I think the cam seal and timing covers is the last of the oil leaks now... Hopefully!






Poor teggy in the back, Havn't been giving it any love. Just look at the bay, So nasty :(

I just ordered a new OEM JDM Honda Double Din Radio Cover, Should be here in about a week.




Now than there's a few odds and ends i'm looking for. If anyone has them and would like to sell them or give them away :D That would be great. (Has to be black =)) Here's pics of the little pieces i'm missing.

2 block offs on each side of the dash.





Block off plate that sits under the e brake handle and a block off plate that sits on the arm rest





Also does anyone know why the ebrake handle would be real loose whenever it's down? Maybe there's something on the ebrake handle not bolted down? Like when the ebrake handle is down you can move it left and right with no resistance. Than once you pull the ebrake handle up and goes to the right instead of going straight up. Any help appreciated!


PS: Car is pretty dirty inside so ignore that, Havn't vacuumed it out in awhile. It's ready for another clean!

Betta go diggin through them dumpsters boy!!! Jk. Well :( My friend has a civic shell he's trying to sell for $150 i'm trying to get it to use as a donor car. It has a rear disc conversion and he says all the little interior pieces, Possibly windshield molding clips. Trying to grab it and take everything I need than scrap it. It's over at a shop he works at, I think it's a front end collision car the guy wants it out the shops parking lot.

It's all good, Hopefully I get the pieces soon, Incredibly hard to get a hold of my friend with the parts car sometimes. He's full time college and 2 jobs but hopefully I can get it.

Havn't updated anything in awhile, I just been driving it really, I drove it to Texas for the Honda Fetish Shootout couple weekends ago, Headlight bulbs went out and that's when I found out I had JDM headlights because I had to have H4H bulbs and couldn't find them anywhere, Ended up with some Password JDM bulbs I found locally by a friend with a RHD japanese hatch :D Battery ground cable was corroded throughout and was givin issues, Replaced the ground cable and put new connections on power and ground, Front lip fell off in the middle a scraped down the freeway for 30 minutes so I threw it in the trash, Last mud flap finally got ripped off leaving my driveway. I been removing stuff out the car, Removed my spare tire jack and spare tire cover, rear carpet, tools, I been trying to put the car on a diet because it affects the little D15b7 so much, When I first got the car, I'd lose to my friends daily lincoln v8 towncar by 2 cars. Now i'm leaving him by 1 car without any engine mods at all. I'm wanting to get a rear wiper delete and was going to remove my speakers since I have no head unit, Also thinking about removing the rear seats but havn't decided on that.

All in all I havn't spent any money on her, I got some new Crower 403 full race drag turbo cams for the integra, Got my new upgraded wrist pins with new locks, and set of cp rings.

Been deciding what to do with the hatch but really it's just my daily right now. Going for alittle more weight reduction. As little weight as i'm removing it's making the car that much funner in the turns and give it that little boost in performance because the little D15b7 can use every bit of it.

Wanting to get my windows tinted but have to find out if I can get lexan or flex a lite windows tinted. a FAL rear window and quarters would shed a good bunch of weight

Mounted the battery in the trunk finally, It's been back there but just flew around the truck, I had a huge blanket holding it in place. It didn't do to great of a job but now it ain't going anywhere..

Also installed a BPI 3" flow stack I had from my integra just sitting here so I installed it on the civic.

Havn't really done anything to the civic, It's just the daily. But the trunk latch is broke in a way, The hatch glass doesn't ever shut. So when I go down the road it just makes tons of noise (It doesn't come open it just bounces on bumps and such) But I put back in my cargo cover to drown some of the noise out for now.
Anyone know where I can order a new or working used hatch latch assembly?

I got the block off plates for the dash on the sides now from a friend. I just need the e brake cover now. I'm going to order a cigarette lighter since the spots just empty and looks kind've ugly empty, I'm also going to order a rear wiper plug. Been thinking about a new set of mud flaps, new front lip, Also want my windows tinted as dark as my integra but I need a new windshield first because mine got cracked.
