My club's national president has had quite a bit of experiance with setting up meets like this so I asked him for his input. His sugestions were:

#1 - not a good idea to park like in Melt's picture, we could get yelled at for safety and fire codes and stuff. It's best to just park the normal, legal way.

#2 - It's too late to change the location but not to late for a backup plan... Is there a park nearby? somewhere that if we get kicked out we can just go to the park and have someone check back at the mall for straglers from time to time?

Hey JE, its supposed to rain in roseburg tomorrow, but I dont think it gonna be cold enough to snow on the 2,000 ft passes that you have to go over. We're meeting at dominos in sutherlin, exit 136, at 11:30 am on sunday mornin, before we drive up to eugene. There will be free pizza and soda for anyone that comes. Pop-n-fresh, I hope you'll be able to make it also. Anyone who's cool cane show up, and I'll hook you up. Here's the map, It's about a 40 minute drive to gateway mall.
