yeah my old civic had si's w/ flaken azenis on em. i loved that car but honestly i like the my ek alot more. especially once i get the 99 front end. but if i do get the gsr blades powdercoated i am debating on gloss black or gunmetal. but yeah i definetly agree w/ ya that the oem wheels are tight. if you notice there is not one thing on my brothers cars exterior that isnt oem except the srs exhaust and the drop. other then that it is 100% real oem stuff, no replicas. i think its one of the tightest looking hatches. so yeah im deffinetly planning on doin the oem look w/ my coupe. haha and sorry no road trips for me. already enough miles as it is.

thanks brookliner. haha ill ask him, but he doesnt push it too hard in the altitude. our cars run like crap up there compared to down here in the valley. yeah i know the change is gonna be different but i havent seen many vsm coupes out there w/ gsr blades compared the tons of civics that look exactly like mine so yeah i think it'll be tight. plus ill still have the rotas if i dont like em cuz im tradin my hx's for the blades. but keep the comments coming yall.
yeah, I know what you mean about our cars runnin like crap up here...
when i first moved, I thought my vtec selonoid wasn't working cuase it felt like I had no vtec, the car was gutless...
I was so mad when I realized that indeed my vtec WAS working, it's just the decrease in the partial pressure of O2 in the atmosphere...even though there is greater Potentail Gravitational Energy per every mol of O2, the concentration is less, and so is the K.E.
Oh well...
I do love driving into the valley, my car actually feels QUICK!
Up here, I feel like I'm wasting a bad ass frankenstien swap, I can't enjoy it up here. :(

gunmetal blades....hmm......I dunno...maybe silver....like the Si finish?

PS dood, go to www.AZHTSQUAD.com
ton of zoners with clean JDM style cars man, I met up with them once...real nice cars! even though mine isn't very JDM, it still gets a little love with the LsVTEC.
I'm sure they like yours and your bro's!
They meet every Saturday night somewhere in the valley!
Check em out! tell em I sent ya!

yep the hatchie is straight up b16b. fast as a bat outa hell. yeah i might be getting the si's instead since its got bfg gforces on em and my blades have all seasons so my bro might take the blades for the snow and ill get the si's. either way still clean lookin wheels. i particulary love these two hatches. this pic is what made me fall in love w/ the gsr's and si's. haha if i had a hatch it would pretty much be a black version of me n my bro.

well both of these cars have always been and still are our daily drivers. i think the scratch on the hatch was on the civic when we bought it and the dent on the rear fender is from a stupid car opening their door into his panel in a parkin lot. there are a few others but my car is proudly pretty much dent free. but yeah dents happen and their not full out show cars so we dont care much. and like i always say, dents build charecter!!!! oh i found a pic of a coupe like my w/ the gsr's and i like it alot but i wanna know y'alls opinion. lemme know if you think it'll look good on a vsm coupe w/ moldings painted.

Really nice civic man. Looks good, I think GSR phat 5's look good on VSM em1's. I really like the black slips but they are played out like you said. What suspension do you have.

i have tien sustech lowering springs but the dont really lowermuch. i can lower it any more because since these rims have a wierd offset the rub like no other. thats another reason why i am getting rid of the slips. if i could find a set of any color but white c8's to trade for my rims i woudl put those on. or even c10's. i dont particularly like the fat 5's. kind of an oldschool look in my opinion. i dont think you can really beat the gsr blades or si's

G forces all the way dood!
You gotta pay for em though.
azenis = cheap
g force = not cheap

I guess the powder coating will make em look better...but I have to say, With the blades, your car looks TOO stock, ya know, like, know one could tell you were into cars .

what are you gonna put on it while they are being powder coated?

i still got the rota's. i just put em on for now. i traded my hx's straight up for the blades. i know it does look too stock. no one wants to race me anymore. thats also why i want to powdercoat em. ohh and i get g-forces for 63 a piece installed. haha so yeah they are the same price as the nitto's and stuff so i definetly goin for those. keep the comments comin.

g-forces the same price as which nittos? the extreme drag radials? so you're getting the g-forces or the nittos?
$63 is a pretty good price, what size are you getting?
my friend is looking for some g-forces...do you have a hook up?
good deal on trading the hx's for the blades!

ps, your avatar is pimp!

"Team America, F*UCK YEAH!" lol!
