turbo power brudda.... just dont blow the s**t like i did to my first engine. but that s**t was trash.. now i'm hittin 276 at 12psi but b series power plant is a better builing plateau.. just be safe cause it gets expensive after u blow

I don't realy dog it out that much anymore. Only dogged it out for like the first 3 weeks after the install and it's not a daily driver no more. I put maybe 20 miles a month on it. I don't like going to hangouts soldiaboi. Kinda boring after a while. I want to take it to Moroso and see what it does in the 1/4 mile. Should happen soon nuff.

what motor is in your 4dr? and are you boosting12psi on stock internals? what are you using for fuel management?

If its a b16, you could boost about 14 psi safely, if you run a thick head gasket and head studs. Depending on the wastegate spring thats about all you can boost, unless you use a profec II, I think that controller has 150% on it.

where do you see i can boost 14psi safely on stock internals? i thought 10-12 was the limit. dyno tunned of coarse. if i put a thicker head gasket ima throw a high coolant flow block guard in there too. might as well put in race pistons, rods, the whole 9 yards. guess i'll have to wait a while before that happens. As far as the boost, my waste gate hose blew once cause i had the clamp too tight and i hit 18-20 psi twice. and adjusting my turbo xs boost controller, i've hit 15-16 psi. it also boosts about 1 1/2 more psi on 4th & 5th gear. especially in 5th.

I don't understand. You said that you have hit 18 psi on stock internals, but you dont think you can run 14 safely? And how can you compare adding a thick head gasket and head studs to totally rebuilding the engine? It's the difference between a 150 dollar gasket and a 2,000 rebuild??

i hit 18psi for not even a second cause my waste gate vaccum hose broke. and as far as the headgasket goes, i wouldn't like to take off the head just to install a thicker head gasket cause i might end up taking off the headgasket 3 months later.

My buddie ran about 13psi on a stock B16....I wouldnt run any higher on stock internals...my other buddy just cracked his sleeve running between 15 to 17psi.....on his B18C5
