First of all those check valves are awsome lol. Nothing like going in to a pet store to buy auto parts! (they are fish tank valves for those who dont know). Missing link is what you use if you are using an FMU, which he isn't.
He's using the AFC hack, so as it turns out, he doesnt need check valves or the missing link at all..

he's running 8psi, but he could run 10 with the hack. He's using 450 dsm injectors.
Sweet dude. Thats awesome...keep those pics up there so i can use them for reference, thats like the exact same setup im doing on mine....i even have the EXACT same manifold that he has!

Well just to let you guys know he blew something up lol. We arn't sure exactly what it is, but he's got oil smoke like crazy. We are think he has cracked a valve seat, but we wont know for sure until tomorrow. He took it to one shop here in town, and the guy didn't even tear the engine apart. Instead he just told us the engine was no good, and he took the liberty to try and find a new one. The bottom end of the engine is fine, we know that, so we got the car back, told the guy he was an idiot, and now we have a trust worthy buddy of ours looking at the car.
Let this be a lesson to all you thinking about turboing. These problem all have to be expected.

Grand total spent on all new internals and sleeving, 1200 bucks CDN. Pretty hard to even find a b16 for that much... well, i got my b18 for that, but that's another story.
Plus now he'll be able to run all the boost he wants. With a b16 he wouldn't be able to afford to do anything.
