sorry bout the ride man. i feel ya. i think ALL car theives, and other big property stealers should have something SO HORRIBLE done to them that they never, EVER steal again. It would also send a message to some of the other theives. how much are they askin' for you to buy the car back (sorry if you already said, but I read quickly thru the 4 pages). back when my hatch got stolen, they said I could buy it back for $500. Unfortunately, my mom didn't wanna get the car back, and didn't think it was worth fixing back up. The value was at $4,600. I called honda, and asked them for a price quote on ALL the parts, and they said just under 4 grand. So maybe I could have and if I could've I would've... but when you're parent(s) say no, and the title is still with the bank... what can you do?
I'm hoping that I can maybe manage to get my car totaled out from my theft. They didn't take my motor, but they did a good enough amount of damage. I'd buy mine back though. Especially since I've already had to start fixing it. Not fixed yet though. (Stolen in October I think it was.)
