Sorry took me a lil while to reply... been kinda busy... Anyways, i just got myself some tezzas like that, and when they come in ima red out the top half. Ill take some pics of it as im doing it and post em up here. I posted in chb.com (where that guy with the blue hatch that did it already is) asking him how to do it, here is what he said:
ok get a small spray can of TESTORS transparent candy apple red paint. you can get it at the model car section at wal-mart. its the paint you use to paint the tails on model cars...1 small can is all you need.
mask of the lower part of the tailights and spray 2-3 LIGHT coats. you dont want the red to turn out to dark. let it dry between coats. then when thats dry spray alot of clear coat on it.
then after like a week after you painted them. get some wax and wax your tailights. helps to keep the paint from coming off.
then what i do is like wax them every other week. you do that and the paint will never come off. if you dont do this it will start to come off when you wash your car. ive done this to m y past 3 cars....

if your paint is coming off its because you didnt sand em down right .... has nothing to do with waxing em Ok, im confused on what to do... I would think that if you sand it that it will leave a texture, im very hesistant to sand it... Melt said that if you use 1200 grit sand paper its fine though. I wanna know what ima do and have the stuff when they come in so i can paint em and get them on... I want them painted before i put them on, so i needta figure out what to do.

-morphiasx: can you post the pics up when you do the redding out of your altezzas. i really wanna know how you're going to do it. I'm thinking about getting vinyl tape and see how it looks, before i spray paint, because i can take the vinyl tape off if it doesn't look good.
Sure thing, ill take pics as i do it... I picked up the paint and other supplies i needed, just waiting on the tails to come in... I bought them off of slammedcivic, i think hes already shipped em out, not sure... When they come in im gonna do it right away...

the headlights are denji. i bought them like a year and a half ago. I just sold my tail lights. I'm gonna get half red half white instead. but i gotta save like around 80 bucks. i made like 65 off the altezzas, so now i gotta get some more money. if you know of any where cheap where i can buy half red half whites, please tell me, other than ebay. thanks.
i was gonna do the half red thing, but then i realized that mine are black not white, so it wouldn't look that good if i painted the top half red. but yours looks pretty good man, good job.
