if your tuned on chrome, it isnt good to use a manual boost controller. Once your set and tuned, if you turn up the boost, you will be running lean. turning down the boost will set you rich. Once you tune the AFR then any other adjustments u make, you will have to be re-tuned.

i know i dont plan on changing it once its tuned but dont you need to have one to set a certain boost pressure?? or do you go off a spring in the wastegate or what? ive always just used a boost controller to set a certain psi

the gate spring is a set psi. If it's not your desired boost setting. Then you cna use a manual boost controller. (but you will not be able to run lower boost than the gate spring will allow)

wow havent seen this thread for a while. update... had to sell all my parts due to bills. still got a jumper harness though lol soooo my tax check should be in the mail tomorrow, gettin that computer and tunerview off xenocron my friend just boosted his LS so im pretty much gonna copy his tune since he has a chip burner and is great at tuning. my friends have a ton of turbo parts so as long as i get an exhaust manifold and possibly a new turbo ill be set. motor is still running strong and perfect i will be happy with 250 hp for a daily driver.
