again, im not sure, but im guessing that there is a way to reverse the image of the backup cam...youd have to do that, and also ive heard it displays text across the bottom, like you would see on a mirror.

try Ebay. or the company... ive seen them on ebay something like 500-800.. but im not sure if its just DVD's i think its the whole nav system.. id check into it if i was you

i called a few hookups and they both gave me the same number.... seattle electonics or something like that
it's where the shops order from.... they should be able to get me a set at the shops cost which is right around $175

i'm gonna call on monday and order those mofo's

n1 bypass

i've seen one person bypass the gyro... it's possible...
he was an idiot and took the risk of opening it up and tinkering with it's insides.... although he is in his 3rd year of college for that sort of s**t...

but he tells me that there's another way to easily bypass it now... something he saw for sale
he's trying to find it for me

on the avic n1:look under the main unit(not the hide away unit)you will see a silver sticker,peel it off, youll see two contacts covered in wax labeled (r197)wipe off wax carefully with small screw driver.drop some solder in between the to contacts and join them .ground the light green parking wire

I know what your going to say for the D1, you take the pioneer plug, and add another ground, that might work for that, but DONT TRY THE " DRIPPING SOLDER"

why was there wax there in the first place...to protect it, if there was supposed to be a plug there, there would be a connection for you to put in a jumper, just dont try it.

the US is the only country that the avic n2 comes with features blocked out.... the ONLY difference between us models and every other country's avic n2 is that those 2 connections are jumped

his bypass method has been proven time and time again, i just dont trust myself enough to do it
