yep you said it, it tops out at about 170...Mr. Lin said:No. The 19t I think is rated at something like 170whp.
yep its sohc.Linguistics said:are you still using the sohc motor?
No, I just wanted to make sure yall knew I wasnt gonna run bigger injectors..Mr. Lin said:see... the 19t is generously rated at 170 and it comes with 310 injectors. I hope that you don't think that 310s are an upgrade...
So how much boost would I see with the 19t, FMIC, stock internals, vortech FMU, boosting around 7-9 psi?anfrey said:the greddy 19t HAS the potential to giveu 200+whp, but definately NOT on stock internals and stock fuel management
Thank you.SeanMc300 said:200 whp on a sohc is more common than you might think. you can run 200whp on a totally stock d16 motor. ive seen it done on a d16 with a fmu, ihi rhb5 turbo, stock injectors, 10 psi.... ran 3 years strong. (only reason whyi use past tense is because he swapped it out for a ls motor). oh and it cost him about 800 bucks too. i have all my turbo stuff, except downpipe and two gauges, so far it has costed me about.... 300 bucks.. muahahahaah
back on topic:
Could I get around 200whp with a 19t kit and 310cc's on stock internals? ----- Yes
Will it be safe for a daily driver? ------- Yes
Also at what rpm will I receive full boost on the 19t kit? ------- a good guess would be 3500-4000 rpms
Didi you have the t25 setup before? Your new setup is just a tad bigger than your old setup, so why arent you going with a bigger turbo?SeanMc300 said:Im going to run a unknown brand tubular exhaust manifold, ihi rhb5 turbo, custom dp, ford probe intercooler, custom charge pipes, 1g dsm bov, missling link, fmu (thats right, im using it, flame if you want....but you can lick my sack). gonna run the stock turbo setting of 6.5 psi, then after winter probably push it to 10. oh its on a d16y8.
