You're not going to want to replace the harness since it is one piece through the whole vehicle beginning from behind the dash. This same harness runs through your vehicle to all four doors and the pigtails go through the body panels. You are better off identifying the damaged wires at the connector between the driver door and body panel, and then splice them into the door wires beyond the connector.

jcamb, that's some great work. I'm going to have to do this very same thing with mine, as some of the wires going into the connector to the door have been pulled out, and the entire rest of the group of wires is broken in the middle. All the wires and their associated functions went out progressively over a few week's time. Unfortunately, I have no car experience so I'm going to have to wing it myself.

How did you fix the wires that were broken inside the connector to the door? For one thing, I can't even seem to get the connector out, although I'm working from the inside of the car with the door open instead of having taken the body panel above the wheel off.

I didnt have to fix the connectors on the door because thats the piece i replaced, i cut mine off and replaced it with another harness from a junkyard, and soldered all 23 wires together and put heat shrink around it. my power locks stopped working a few months back though...so i may be going back behind the fender to see whats up...
