I am working on my white hatch and I've been wanting to do a carbon fiber concept car for about 4 years now. The only 3 things I would get on the outside is the carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber m3 mirrors and the carbon fiber spoiler. I'm changing the inteior to black or whatever is left uncovered by carbon fiber. I'm trying to steer clear of tackiness. How much carbon fiber is too much in the car? Any suggestions of what items I should get that is carbon fiber? CF petals, CF ebrake handle, CF dash kit, CF inside door handles, CF door panels, CF center console, CF shift knob, CF cargo lid, CF steering wheel, CF gauge pod, CF gauges, CF tach, CF dash trim, ect...
(NOTE: I'm trying to make this project a show car and all go.)

Cash is what I got, just no idea what to get first and where to get some of it. But if you can find out for me it would be greatly appreicated.

I think you have to have a few things in your interior be cf for it to look good and all match. Just don't do EVERYTHING in cf, then it would be tacky. But it's up to you I am sure there are some people on here with alot of cf on their interior

the site im thinking about had much more parts than that --- and they werent all just "universal" crap parts, like hood scoops and carbon fiber cannards, which would be ludacris to put on a civic  unless thats what shes going for :what: ;)

i think carbon dash kits are cheezy. anything that is completely cf or custom is cool imo. i would say that since you're not going all out on cf on the exterior, maybe just a few choice pcs on the int. maybe a cf gauge pod... meanstreet sells cf door panels. if you have any shops in your area that are half decent w/ fabrication, the center pc on the dash (the pc that starts from the left side of the dash - goes over and around the steering and trims the ac and radio) would be a pretty easy mold. anyways... gl w/ the project. post some pics of progress..

We tried the cannards on our old white hatch when we lived in Florida. It didn't look so hot.

So far, I haven't seen any worthy shops in Chicago and the scene is poorly organized. My best bet is driving back down to Florida where I know good shops. I don't trust ebay that much when it comes to quality of the carbon fiber. And indeed I'll be posting pics. Mainly they will be in my vbgarage section.

What the hell are you thinking connie? You need to make your car look as much like everyone else's as possible. CArbon Fiber isn't gonna help project:clone
