get some solid motor mounts, they'll probably help you out more than your throttle body on your N/a D. and when you go turbo the extra torque will flex the old bastards and there will be lots of wheel hop, so why not why its out, they are cheaper on ebay like hasports and avids.

I've got them in mine and love them, a little vibration makes you feel like you are more a part of the car.

Nice. Who makes that mani?

manifold was made by xo2racing.

welds on it were really good. high quality material. only problem i ran into with the mani was that i had a turbo with a t25 exhaust flange and had to make an aluminum spacer to go from t3/t4 to t25.

have a thread here talking about what i went through. sorry, dont have any pics of the spacer.

If you have any other turbo needs I would contact Greg at go-autoworks.com. they will custom fab pretty much anything and the craftsmanship is amazing.

once again, thanks for your comments.

as promised, here are some of the parts that went into this project.

custom cam/alternator pullies

h-beam rod

pistons - one on the right.

pay no attention to this piston. its a 10.5:1 for another project that is for sale. look at the titanium block guard in the backgrund

God knows how long its been since i have posted an update on this project. Its kinda been sitting dormant for the past year. Anyways, have some new things to report.

I had to switch out the custom crank pulleys with some AEM pulleys. I was not able to keep a charge on the battery with the small ratio so, i had them switched out.

In addition, purchased an Apexi Noir catback to stay with the clean look theme.

Car will be headed over to Evan's Tuning next month for a street tune and NepTune map upgrade. Car is running way too rich for the cut i had done on the cam. If i can find the jpgs from Delta Cam, i will post them so ya'll can see the duration.

Five years later and nothing to show for this build. On my third mechanic, and just found out that the second mechanic pretty much ran the engine to within an inch of blowing up. Cylinder walls and pistons are scratched, oil pump shredded, and a few other problems including the clutch fried.

New mechanic asked if I have a second head to use, and I have a D15B as a spare with the same port and polish as the ones pictured previously. Will the D15B head fit on the D16z6 block?

Any assistance is welcome.

Also, this is the deciding point on whether I continue on with this project. Will post later if I decide to sell the engine and with what parts.

Cheers

Bummer, but I'm pretty sure a d15b head will bolt right on there
