Do I not know what I am looking at or is there a distributor added to that D17?

It doesnt have an intake manifold, throttle body, then intake attatched to the cylinder head. It just has individual throttle bodies for each cylinder.

Which brings me back to my original question. Do ITB's really improve performance that much if you get it tuned correctly?

i would think so, but from what ive learned you need some higher compression pistons and a good head build for it to be fully effective

So the difference between high compressions pistions and a good head build with stock air box, versus high compression pistons and a good head build WITH ITB's would be roughly what??

just that it all depended on your cam/tune setup

one did say 20-25hp, but idk how true that is either
