good high end models i like are diamond audio, arc audio, dls, mb quarts, mcintosh, ads, focal, Kove Audio, Adire, Orion, Xtant, jl. i love diamond audio stuff but i could never afford it.

kicker is goign down hill.. honestly the only kicker subs i liek are the Comp series. the solobarics i dont like. plus Circuit City picked up kicker

I mean theres nothign wrong with mainstream audio> its just when they become big they dont produce as good as quality as they used to.

i agree with u all the way. the reason why the mainstream audio equipment are popular is because they are made for the main buyers price range. plus some of the brands are to using price over quility to make a profit. higher end compition brands are less known because most people will never pay the price for them. u got very good picks.. now i dont get whats the first post is about when u know what brands are good already.. lol

first off jl didnt go big till a few years ago and i been buyin thier s**t from the get go. and ur callin US AMPS a mainstream company?????????? dude u smoke crack or somethin maybe u should go read somethin bout them. im an electronics major so i know what low end components are all about, ur so called non mainstream companys use lower quality components which means the tolerances of the components are increased which in dummy terms means its not as precise
