whose car is this anyway? I thought it belonged to that guy who said he was 16? and his dad bought it all salvaged and all... but now you said it belongs to a 40-yr old guy on s2ki.com. ??

does that red s2000 belong to that kid that came here a while ago and said his dad bought it for him from a junkyard or something and it came with the bumper. I remember something like that. car looks good
and i realized today that seeing an old rolls royce being towed away with insurance info on the windows and the back wheels in the air just looks kinda depressing
its kinda hard to see in this pic, but the seats have faded to white from all the saltwater that got inside...remember, the water was above the roof
car has finally been towed off anyway
but try honda specialist, i remember them having an s2000 interior, but it was only the blue one. they also had a black rsx interior....this was also a year ago so im sure they might have some more interesting stuff
The water was above the roof? Maybe you might want to stay away form that battery then... I'm not sure how well Optimas stand up underwater. I'd imagine only blue tops (marine) would be good after that though. I wouldn't touch a yellow top that'd been under salt water.

It would of been really weird to be in a boat floating down those streets and seeing all those nice cars under you. I would have to stop and have a moment for the s200 before I would continue on my way.

his part was under water more than where i live. he lives on this private island about 10-12 miles up, and that whole thing is about 6-inches above sea level, and water surrounds the entire place.
where i live, is above most everyone else so we got pretty lucky.
anyways, its kinda like you said....canoes in the streets, and saw a jetski run out of gas right next to me. said he had been driving down the main roads with 3+ feet of water everywhere......
i know it doesnt look like too much, but this is about 5-6 hours after the rain stopped. so water had a 5-hour headstart to begin draining out. at 1 point, key west was 70% underwater
