Hahah yea. The cusco weighs maybe 15lbs total? This hard dog is like 45lbs. Shits beefy.

So update I guess...

The bar is in (kinda). In order to put the bottom mounting plate on, I need to cut into the body of the car, without actually cutting INTO the car. Not only do I not have the tools for this, I also dont have the nerves. I was sketched out enough just drilling the new holes, let alone cutting into the body. I'm going to try to get an appointment with the fabricators and see if I can have them install it.

Passenger seat is in with the belts mounted to the stock seatbelt mounting places. The top wings of the seat are too big and with both seats in I wont be able to use my glove box... The S now sits gutted from the center back with holes that I still need to fill from the Cusco bar (time constrained).

We were ready to start fitting the driver seat when I realized the other set of Status side mounts werent sent in the box. Called them and I should be hearing back from them about it. I was so excited that I didn't do my double-check of all parts.

Looking for a nice dremel set to buy...I'll be needing it once I try to put my interior back in...yikes.

The plan a few months down the road is to take the Status seats and replace them with Bride Low Max, and put the Status's in the Ep3. Order up a set of Takata longs and just do the same in the EP3.

I was so discouraged at one point because of all the headache it was causing me. But I calmed down, woo-sah'd and kept to telling myself they didnt build Rome in a day.

Gotta keep your head up. I had to go back and re-read my favorite Honda Tuning articles about the builds that were wrecked/totaled/destroyed and how they came back to be beast. I'm trying to rush everything and I just need to slow down. I'm a very compulsive person and i promised myself i wouldnt do that to this car...

Wheels will be much further down the road but yes, Volks are in this baby's future.
