Radio Trouble

I have a 2008 Honda Civic EX. Here recently while listening to my AUX setting it will randomly try to switch over like I put a CD in and say "Reading Disc" and then switch back to my aux setting. It will do it like 6-7 times in a row and its super annoying. I never use the CD player. Anyone have any ideas?

Is a CD stuck inside the player?

No. I have even hit the eject button to double check and there is nothing.

no the car didn't come with one. its stock.

Get a can of compressed air, like the ones you use on computer equipment, and spray into the CD player slot. It's possible that you got some dust in there or something that's interfering with the sensor that detects CD's.

I just tried to put a CD in it this week and it wont take it, so I am going to try the can of air first and see!

Can you look into the CD slot with a flashlight?

Are you able to insert a CD and play it?

I just tried it this weekend and a CD does not work. It used too but doesn't now
