i think itll have some sort of affect on your drag at higher speeds. the air will go into the gaping hole you set up in the front of you car and create resistence. i would personally set up some sort of tube down to your passenger side-sidevent or the larger hole in the middle for your bumper. plus that way, you can still see at night and use your front blinker.
