I thought you were on the right track until you mentioned getting some subs. SI wheels and the Tiens you keep mentioning would look nice, but make sure if you lower quite a bit you get a camber kit, and perhaps some new a-arms. And if you get expensive tires, make sure you check the camber and how your tires are wearing every so often. If you havent already I would get a normal tune-up for it (dist. cap, spark plugs, plug wires, fluids, etc.) You always wanna buy smart when fixing up your car, its not an inexpensive sport. It's better to buy a 300 dollar part once and know it will last, than buy a 150 dollar part and have it f*ck up and then have to buy the quality part to replace, its just time and money wasted. Do your research before purchasing any item, and I always say make sure your car can back up what it looks like. Don't make a car look fast without it being fast, you don't want to be decieving now would you? just my opinion, PM me if you need any product information.

I just wanna say " Thank you " for your input and support to start of my reply. I'll be the first one to tell you straight up that I'm still on that track that you consider " right ".

I say this because I have done my homework ( for the most part ) and I can sit here all day and tell you every single performance , suspension , audio / electrionic part that I have or will soon purchase for my ride. I understand and recongized the suggestion that you made with the chamber kit. But if you noticed I don't have just the wheels.. or I don't have just the coilovers. I plan on purchasing everything at the same time.

As far as my research goes.. I plan on getting both Front and Rear Chamber kits , Front and Rear Strut bars , Rear Sway bar , and a Bushing kit to complete my suspension package for my ride. But that will not be all. Hopefully that shows you that I do know what I want and what my plans are for the ride are going to be.

I know what good quality is. I'm willing to pay top dollar for my parts because I have done my personal studies and just that. Just because I'm willing to save up all my money , instead of having people purhase parts for me or purchase cheap parts doesn't mean I'm a newbie. It takes a lot of time ,money , and effort / commentment to make a true meaning project car. I've had my car for almost 3 years now and it has 120k miles and it's still running strong. Maybe thats why I have only the parts I have? I believe I have the knowledge to not only purchase parts and totally be satisfied with the amount I paid for the product , but being satisfied with how long the product last and performs as well. I have people come to me as ask my opinions for car speakers , exhaust systems , CAI's , etc etc.. Just cause they know I know what quality is all about. But at the same time I'm not going to say I'm a expert , cause I'm not. Even experts are wrong at times too.

In conclusion... I'm only getting ONE subwoofer and A multi ( 5 ) channel amplifier totaling $1000 together. Not " subs ". Also , I never claimed for my car to be fast. I believe my civic will NEVER be fast as I wish it could be. I claimed for it to be a " Reallynicecivic " which in my two cents it is , just like many others civics in this Forum. I'm going to build my civic to my likings and I'm really not going to care what others think , cause not everyone is going to like me nor my car anyways regardless.

A showcar enthusiast / exhibitor by the name of Vik Deol ( owner of a 2000 acura GSR ) created a motto that goes like this. " Go big , or go home. "

Aww man.. Long time, no reply. I didn't fall off the face of the earth, just been busy working. As for your unawnsered comment yea.. This thread is pretty funny ( Not saying that cause it's my thread ) but because many people do respond / reply. Regardless of the fact weather the comments negative or whatever I'm still gonna tell that person / people what I think too. But I appreciate all the comments and suggestions like I said plenty of times before.

And yea.. My grocery getter does have a long way to go.. but that's ok. Cause I'm not working at the State unemployment center anymore. I'm actually working for a used car dealership around my way so I don't believe money will be a problem anymore, plus I'm getting a tax return as well.

You know what? Maybe I was wrong. Maybe it is spelled Chamber kit. But if you were smart... You would have quoted me where I did in fact misspell the word. I'm no english major , but I do have my high school diploma. That would be great if you stoped by my dealership. And let me tell you now , we Approve everyone. Not only that but I'll give you free extended warrenty on the most f**ked up , s**t in the backseat , bullet holes in the body , repo'ed for the 10th time car we have on our lot.

Check this out. Since we are a competitive dealership... I'll f**k up your car personally to where not only will you have to have your vehicle towed to your house , but you can come back and purchase another car and refer all your friends as well.

It's cool man. Part of being in a community like this is being honest and straight forward as your being. And I can respect that from you. I also don't want you to feel as if your the only one thats at fault cause your not. I did say some things towards you that really wasn't nice to say as well. So I also apologize. Umm... Sup everybody... Yea.. I haven't posted or said anything in a longass time. I just wanted to appologize about that to all the people who view my threads and wonder about me. I know you all know who you are. I just wanted to say sorry for not being able to keep in touch often. Mostly because of my work hours and whatnot. But anywho.... ( Since I got that out of the way ) For those of you who may not know , I got some really really super clean Civic Si 7 spoke 15 inch alloys the other day. I got them with some funky firestone tires for $400. Still couldn't really beat that. I love the wheels , but not the tires so I'm debating on weather or not I wanna put them on. There 185/60 or 65/15 in size. I know.. It's crap but still. I don't have my coilovers or chamber kit either. I'm basically waiting for my commission check to roll threw. And with that , hopefully I can buy some more stuff. Yay. Till then... I'm not really sure what I wanna do. Still have lots of work that needs to be done of course , but I know what I gotta do and I'm workin on it ever so slowly but surely. If anyone has any questions just ask me. I'm gonna be constantly updating my progress from just this thread so basically everyone can see my work from basically nothing to hopefully something. Oh.. and I got some PIAA Xtreme white bulbs. Not blue... white. Yea , I know... Big Woo. Just thought that I'd share anywho cause I didn't before. Plus the fact that if you wanna talk trash , I can just blind the s**t out of you , so being behind you wouldn't be such a bad thing either. ( -> insert smile here <- )

7/19/04 - I updated my mod list ( page 1 ) . I'ma gonna keep updating stuff as I progess like I've been saying I would. I appreciate all the people who still check out my thread and see if I've been doing anything to my car and what not. Once I've added more pictures of my ride. I might even do a before / after type thing on here as well. But yea.... Things are coming along slowly but surely. Opinions and Suggestions are welcomed.
