well the actual parts list is located on h-t so do a search for that there
what parts are you talking about? You will need to boost higher than 8psi to hit 200hp. I'm like at 186hp to the crank @8psi with my 14b snail :D

my buddy ran his obd1 y7 at 8 pounds on a 14b AUTO delslo.. motor blew before the tranny did. (VAFC + Missing link). Never dyno'd it, but I'm assuming it was around 165-175whp.

Turbo response was INSTANT.. very quick car, very smooth and useable power band.

i was refering to the post above my last one...but it just seems like the auto trans sucks up so much power that i need to go manual to use all the power

Also keep in mind guys that he is probally going to want the y8 tranny again, so those will run a little more than the other tranny's available. If you are willing to go with a y7 tranny or whatever else besides the y8, then that will prob save you some money. The y8 manual has a shorter gear ratio than your auto one, so going from an auto y8 to a manual y7 wouldn't be as big a diff. as going from a manual y8 to a manual y7. With boost, the slightly longer gears may not be all that bad, you would have one hell of a 2nd and 3rd gear. The y8 manual tranny redlines like 55 mph second, and 88 in third. I would personally say that it would be worth the extra $100-200 for the y8 tranny, becuase if you ever go back N/A or dont ever go turbo, it will be noticably better than one of the longer geared trannys, but if you are just going to boost then it could be an option to get a longer geared cheaper tranny. The prob is the y8 trannys are the ones really in demand the others arent at all, so they can be had cheaper. I would still say y8, but wanted to throw out the idea. I assume that any $400 auto manual swap was not done with a y8 tranny, or z6 for that matter (another option)

well some of the other/older d series trannys/engines can go cheap, I almost got a running engine and tranny and intake manifold injectors, exhaust manifold (cx like hf) and a tranny and clutch and flywheel and ecu (p05) good to chip All for $50. This kid had done a swap and didnt want the stuff anymore, d15b7, 70 hp 1992, but still point is some of the lower end d series stuff, people just want to get rid of. I was going to get that engine/tranny and keep it as a back up (incase I blow mine up) but apparently it was stolen two days before I was going to get it. It sucked. But, there are alot of cheap d series engines and trannys out there, especially the lower end ones

how much are these types of trannys going for now, when i try to search, i cant search for a specific one because the prefix are too short for instance when i try to search "91 si transsmision" and all i get is transmission becasue the others are deleted...so how much are the 92-95 si tranny going for, and if i use that transmission, would i be able to swap for under 500 in parts?

I think you'd be happier with a 5-spd than going turbo. That 5-spd will make the car a lot faster than you think.
