Dude I can help you out I have installed a ton of those. To by pass the clutch all you have to do is find the clip that goes to the clutch pedal and put a jumper on it so it can complete the circuit. Also to find out where all the remote start wires go you just have to look at you ignition wires they are all labled. Oh and it would not hurt to learn how to use a volt meter and a test light also find a relay take it apart and see how it work that help out alot. I can tell you exacly what wires do what in you car. I just installed P/W and door lock on my 94 civic hb si. I know it can be stressful and just looking at the wires it's like man where do i start.
but if you need any help let me know

... if a shop installs it.. everyone I've seen.. it will not start in gear.. you have to be in neutral. it's a protection thing since people don't realize that your car will want to go. ;)

how the hell do you do that in an auto???

I have remote start and I love it. ;)

You need to go to another shop because now that alarms are made for manual cars they have to install it. also it could be that there dumb and dont know how to do it. Common sense if the remote is for manual transmission means that you have to do a certain procedure before you get out of the car in order for it to remote start if you dont do this it will never start. the only thing you have to do is bypass the clutch with a relay you can find info online bout that. it is a pretty easy install but i would leave up to someone that knows what there doing dont want to fry ur car but if your brave do it you can find wiring diagrams online. the only thing you have to do is make sure ur tach, parkiing brake and bypass clutch is connected. you can trust me im a certifiied installer mecp
