I thought I fixed it over the weekend!!! I had a kinked vacuum hose so no air was getting through it. We had to unplug my battery so it reset the ECU. I had gone 2 days and everything was looking fine until it came back yesterday
. We couldn't find a damn leak or cracked vacuum hose anywhere. On a positive note, we replaced the timing belt, water pump, and camshaft seal all with OEM Honda parts, and did a coolant flush and adjusted the valves. Car is so much quieter now. All I need is a wheel bearing and my car will be good! But goddamn that P0505 code .RonJ

Hey I actually helped him do the work. That was part of the cheap price he was charging me, that and I'm a good friend
.And to be honest, I really had no idea where the water pump was until he started to pull it off
. I helped where I could but it was mostly a 1 man job until we started re-assembling and he needed a second hand to steady things. I'm actually REALLY glad I got it done this soon. It's been 106k miles since the last service and the last guy didn't use a Honda belt. He told me the belt didn't have much life left in it. Surprisingly, the crank seal was still mint yet the camshaft seal was cracked and leaking oil.And you are right about that... I will most likely either sell my car or drive it into the ground until it doesn't move a single inch before I fix that P0505 code
. It really isn't a big deal to me. It's just annoying having to shut my engine off then quickly flicking it back on to get rid of the bouncing idle.Genuine Rolla

I really wish it wasn't implemented. This isn't D-Series. It's Club Civic. We've gone this many years without it, we don't need it now.
