Curious question. Is it possible to take a US '00 Civic, any model, and make it right hand drive? What I mean by make is, are the holes on the right side (for steering, pedals, etc) as they are for the left side on US models? Hope this makes sense. If not, I'll try to clarify.

If that were true, then I guess getting a part from the junkyard or doing an engine swap would be considered illegal. Your changing parts from two cars as well. Same concept. it is illegal to do an engine swap. at least it is in San Diego CA.... read on it in a mag. i actually think it might be for the whole US but im not sure. but ya in some places it is def illegal to do and engine swap. check your local laws. asked my momma. good to have a mom as a lawyer aint it?

im not up on cali laws i was sayin what i read. it was some artical about how san diago cops are crazy on that s**t and bust street racers for crazy s**t. said that they went to a car show and just started inspecting cars and handing out tickets. anyway its not important cause its not what this threads about. my bad just read one of the previous replys and it reminded me of the article.

i was actually planning on doing this. i ordered a jdm b16a front clip(6th gen) and was going to do rhd conv. i still may do it since it is colorado, and i dont drive my car all the time.

What the hell is the big deal about having a rhd car?? So many ppl have such a hard on for rhd who cares if your car is rhd drive what is the difference we drive on the right hand side of the road so we need a lhd drive vehicle if you want a rhd drive move to japan. Why would you want to waste all the money just to drive on the passenger side of your vehicle?? Here is a cheaper way just glue a steering wheel on your right hand dash board it will save you alot of money man.
