sorry, as I know this will stir up some s**t...

As beautiful as your new RHD is, I have to call 'bullshit' on the '98 ITR 4 lug thing..
After reading that, I thought "hey, I'll go on an educational journey across the 'net, as I did not know that bit of information. I'd like to learn more."

turns out, I can't find a single bit of evidence to back up your statement.. Every picture I could find of a 98 spec ITR was a 5-lug..
even http://world.honda.com/news/1998/4980129.html 's pictures show it as a 5 lug..

Upgrades to Integra and Integra SJ Series

Tokyo, January 29, 1998 --- Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has announced that it has made improvements to the elegant, sporty Integra 3-door coupe, its 4-door hardtop cousin and the Integra SJ. As well as improved safety features, such as ABS fitted as standard, several refinements have been made to the interior and exterior styling of both vehicles. The Type R has also had its operating performance enhanced. The new Integra and Integra SJ series will be available from January 29 at Verno dealers throughout Japan.

Principal new Integra features:
Safety features:

ABS fitted as standard across the series
Dual SRS-airbags fitted as standard across the series

Exterior styling:
Altered rear light color combinations and headlight sub-reflectors
Modified rear bumper design
Newly-designed 15-inch aluminum wheels (SiR/SiR-G)
Special UV-absorbent glass throughout (Ti/Style-S/Xi-4WD/Xi-G)
New body colors available

Interior styling:
New interior decor color options
Triple-spoke steering wheel specially designed for SRS-airbag system
Large vanity mirrors
Continued availability of special edition vehicles:

Integra Type R
For those seeking the ultimate in sporty performance and driving pleasure, Honda offers the Integra Type R, complete with an improved engine, new brake tuning and High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights.

Engine improvements:

The new B18C "98 Spec.R" engine features an equal-length 4-in-1 style stainless steel exhaust manifold. By modifying and enhancing the exhaust pulse, this provides extra mid-range torque during acceleration.
Adjusted final gear ratios deliver enhanced power.

Handling improvements:
Larger diameter disc brakes all round (15-inch on the front and 14-inch on the rear) for improved braking performance.
Larger diameter tires (215/45ZR16s all round) with newly designed 5-hole 16-inch aluminum wheels help raise the understeer threshold substantially, while also improving response, handling and stability.
Completely retuned suspension for a sportier, firmer driving feel.
In line with the higher performance, the body has been strengthened in four places, with the rear lower arm performance rods made thicker.

Other improvements:
SRS airbag-compatible steering wheel designed by MOMO
High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights with twice the brightness of halogen lamps
New wing-type rear bumper design
Special "Integra Type R "98spec.R"-engraved aluminum badge placed in the center of the cockpit

On another note, I did learn that '97 was the first year, olny available in white. '98 changes for the ITR was only the addition of a rear wiper. '99, the ITR was non-existant. 2000 it returned, with standard AC and only available in Yellow or Black. 2001 Brought the ITR as a complete, unchanged carryover from '00, as well as it's last year as an Integra.
If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.. But prove to me I am.. Im not writing this from a smartass stand, but moreso a learning experiience..

The RHD is still top s**t in my book, tho! ;)

yeah dude.. there are definately 4 lug type r's.... he has a 96.. its fine to call bullshit and think that this is a converted gsr, but those wheels are clearly more then 4 x 100. And no civic or integra can accomodate that other then the type R you see before us. Beatiful car man, now tell me how much she costed you. Not just the car, but shipping, titleing, etc. How much does it cost to drive away in this car??

Ok, so I do need to get my glasses checked.. I thought it said 98.. My bad..

I learned something else... I need to pay attention a little more closely. :(

But I thought the ITR didn't come out until 1997...

per http://www.musclecarclub.com/other-cars/imports/acura-integra/acura-integra.shtml :

1996 Acura Integra
Comments: The 1996 Acura Integra was basically carried over from the year before.

Engines: RS,LS: 1.8 I4 142 bhp @ 6300 rpm, 127 lb-ft @ 5200 rpm. GS-R: 1.8 I4 170 bhp @ 7600 rpm, 128 lb-ft @ 6200 rpm.
Performance: .

1997 Acura Integra
Comments: The big news for 1997 was the introduction of the limited edition Acura Integra Type R, which would begin a legacy that has yet to fade. The Type R was a no excuses race car, with a heavily modified naturally aspirated 195 bhp 1.8 liter engine, more horsepower per liter than any normally aspirated mass produced engine in the US. In addition, the Type R lost 93 pounds by using lightweight parts and getting rid of the sunroof, air conditioner, and sound deadening. The Type R also came with new front and rear spoilers, light weight aluminum alloy wheels and sport-style seats. It also came in only one color, Championship White, and the performance tires were only good for around 15,000 miles. Only 500 were sold in the US.

Engines: RS,LS: 1.8 I4 142 bhp @ 6300 rpm, 127 lb-ft @ 5200 rpm. GS-R: 1.8 I4 170 bhp @ 7600 rpm, 128 lb-ft @ 6200 rpm. Type R: 1.8 I4 195 bhp @ 8000 rpm, 129 lb-ft @ 7300 rpm.
Performance: Type R: 0-60 in 7.0 seconds, 1/4 mile in 15.3 seconds.

So someone has their signals crossed somewhere..
And again, I still love Richeeee's car, regardless.. :!:

And to add, I did find a couple '96 ITRs with the 4 lugs, even though several sights state no ITS built in '96.. Cant count on the internet for s**t, eh? lol

Actually, I believe the first Integra Type-Rs were released in September of 1995 in Japan. They came out in the US in 1997. I think that's where some of your information is incorrect. I mean the part where you assume they meant the first ITRs were released in 1997. They actually mean the first ITRs in the US.

:rolf: Remember me?

If so, then you know how I am about my specs. ;)

Oh, and the Si VTEC (which I believe is what you used to have - said it on the blue plate on the core support) and the ITR are similar for those who are interested. The ITR has some added ponies and besides the obvious exterior differences probably also upgraded suspension along with maybe some other goodies. Can you tell us anything you've noticed that is different between the two, Richee?
