RSX front end conversion on a EG

i was wondering if it was done! if so does anyone have pics? im doing a k20 swap into my civic along with dash conversion, front and back seats and im also painting it artic blue pearl (02-05) rsx type s blue. i wanna see how the front end conversion looks if it has been done

I've seen RSX front conversion on a EK coupe but not EG yet. Dont do it, it looks freaking weird. USDM and JDM integra front look weird enough, RSX front on EG would look really nasty. Just some of my opinion.

So you want a K20, RSX front end conversion, RSX dash conversion, RSX front seats, RSX rear seats and RSX paint...

With how many parts you want to be converted to an RSX, just buy an RSX. It will be cheaper, of better quality, and better looking. Plus an RSX will pass emissions no problem while this is unlikely to pass.

It's deff been done....not that much though. Actually, I'm puttin an RSX front end on my EG hatch. It's turning out pretty nice. Still a lot of work to be done though.

well those are the 6th gens, which IMO this conversion looks okay on. But as for the 5th gen/RSX fe conversion.... well it just looks like ass

im sorry but 5th gens just have that smaller looking body style (thinner headlights/tail lights etc) and conversions most the time just will look like s**t. while the 6th gens body apears to look a little bigger which would make it "presentable" with an RSX front end.

by all means...just be happy with your 5th gen and dont give it a face lift.

I can think of one thing that looks good with an RSX front end... 7G Si. Thought if I had a 7G Si, even with front end damage, I would never put an RSX front on it. It didn't look bad though.

as far as it being cheaper to just buy a rsx...wrong...i used to work for a shop and i have pretty good deals on a lot of s**t. The k20 im building will cost about 5600 including the price of the motor. thats i/h/e/ k-pro/cams/valve springs/retainers. the dash and seats wont cost that much because i have someone in a salvage yard. .. my cousin paints for a living so hes paintin the car for free. i said i wasnt sure if i wanted to do the front end. i just kno the 99-00 si's with the rsx front end looks clean so i was just tryin to see how it looks.

Good luck on emissions... (especially if you plan to keep it all under the cost of an RSX).

PS - Never seen that front on a '99-'00 Si. I've seen it pulled off well on two cars ever, neither of which was a 6G Si.

dude.. a K-swap.. paint job..labour in doing all that work.... I agree with NOFX...go buy a RSX.. you'll have enough to even buy a hotdog , pack of smokes, and beer..

what are people gonna do next??? convert a coupe into a hatch!?
